My Happiness
You opened my mind attempting to show me,
How much this life, truly can give.
When I was discouraged you lifted me up,
At times when I hurt, you were quick to forgive.
You gave me the world, yet I had no joy,
But you continued to love me, all just the same,
And when I saw that I was your all,
It was my all that you then became.
So look deep inside me, and clear out my soul,
And help me to love you, my life you control.
Please keep me from hurt, and sin and distress,
And guide my whole being, my one happiness.
