A Soldier's Victory
As the bravest of them all,
A soilder called by name,
Left his all behind,
Not for wealth or fame.
Never knowing what the next day brought,
They all were just the same.
He still loved from a distance,
But didn't stand within the flame.
He chose to fight those against him,
While terror raged on,
And though he had nothing to loose,
His faith was never gone.
And when he won that war inside,
He claimed the victory,
For what he did was for the cause,
Of defending his country.
