Why do Isit here and think of you
When I’m perfectly happy with someone new

He tells me I’m beautiful and brings the best out in me
But when I close my eyes it’s only you I see

I don’t want those feelings of rejection
The guy I have now is almost perfection

But maybe one day ill understand
We will be in Mexico with our feet in the sand

You cheated and lied and treated me like crap
But I kept every memory down to the last scrap

Now I can tell you anything
I just don’t know why we were only a fling

Everything that I see and every thing that I do
I don’t want it too but it reminds me of you

Get out of my life and out of my head
I don’t want to cry anymore alone in my bed

I have to accept you’re with someone new
If only I could say out loud that I still love you
