We Once Were One
The warm day we met,
I can still see,
you playing in the swimming pool,
looking for someone,
I alone myself,
Started to play with you that day,
neither of us knowing what on earth to say,
but we got trought the though times,
and fast came to be,
the best of friends, we would ever be,
The closer we grew the more we left,
the other world behind,
we prayed together, our friendship forever,
and always would stay the same...
WE ONCE WERE ONE!!!
I yelled at you
I wailed at you,
I want my best friend back!
But we both realized at once,
it would never work.
You think it doesn't bother me,
to see us back to two,
looking to my sides to see there is no you.
But we are moving on now,
so lets do it gracefully.
