I was at a wedding recently and it was only then I realised how traumatic it can be for a person suffering from the fear of wines. There was this lady that simply went into raging fits when the waiters were opening champagne bottles and serving them to people. Most people at the wedding didn't really understand what was wrong with her. After all this is one of the rarest kinds of phobias in America.

People living in California don't have a problem with wines but recently incidents of this phobia has been noticed there too. Also aversion to red wine is more common, symptoms of tension and fear are noticed less when champagne and white wines are served.
