'His' Room
This happened to mywife and I few years back while renting a home in ruralPhiladelphia. We rented an older modular home that was very nice.It was warm and cozy for the most part until about 3 months afterbeing there. That is when it started getting wierd. First my wifeand I were watching tv one evening in the living room with a firegoing.
I was on the couch and my wife sitting on the floor next to mylegs when she asked what was wrong with out dog Romeo, a smallloving cocker spaniel. I asked why, she said that he was actingwierd, when I asked her how she said didn't you just see him? Shehad seen him jump off the couch and crossed the room and wasstaring down the hall. I asked her what she was talking about, mydog was sleeping on the couch and had never moved. Second, I hadalway had an wierd feeling any time I entered the second bedroomwhich we used for storage. Whenever I went in there the closetdoor was always open.
I had even placed some boxes in front of the door just to makesure, but next time I entered sure enough the door would be open.I had mentioned this to guys from work. Three of us had decidedto do some investigating and planned to spend the night in theroom with some cameras and video equipment. Two nights before ourplanned sleepover I awoke with my wife screaming and jumping overme onto the floor on my side of the bed. When I finally got hercalmed down she said she had woke up and when she opened her eyesto find an older man in overalls staring at her and told her notto let us spend the night in that room, it was "his room".Needless to say we stayed out of that room and I only went inthere when I absolutely had to and was quick to exit. We movedaway and I have never heard if the new tenant had the sameproblem.
