We was about 14 years old, and arrived at an old manor hall in waddington called Waddow Hall on a school trip, were we would spend the night. Anyway the teachers told us that we had to go to our rooms at 10 o clock to go to bed. It was three people to a room. During the night me and the lads in my room and the three lads in the next room decided to go and explore the building. We set off creeping up to the next floor, which led to a long corridor. As we were walking down this corridor a painting dropped from the wall but did not smash, we turned around quickly, and saw a woman wearing a white robe,like a nightie kind of thing disappearing down the corridor quickly away from us, we wer horrified, and ran back to our rooms to discuss what we had seen.
