One night during January of the year 1989. My three daughters were asleep, it was about 11pm at night. When all of a sudden i started hearing horses and cattle running outside, the wind was blowing fast with dust. At the same time all the dogs of the town i lived in started howling and crying.When i started hearing all those sounds the more attention i would put in it the more my body woud paralyze. My neighbore had cattle that he would milk day and night, and four huge dogs tied. There were moments when i would hear the dogs trying to escape the chains they were tied to. When all of a sudden i hear the horrifying shriek of the Yorona, a cry that felt endless. I was in bed and awake when i felt that the bed had vanished and i was floating. the only thing i could do was breath. I could barley move my eyes my whole body was paralyed. I could hear her desperate cry for a long time until i fell asleep again. The next day when i was in town the townspeople were talking about what had happened the night before. One thing is for sure ever since i had believed in her and when i remember that shriek i get gooosebumbs all over again.
