When i was about 6 i think...i can remember one day. My mom was cooking, and i was playing in the liveing room. I rember my mom screaming my name. I got scared and ran to the kitchen as fast as i could. I remember my mom standing in front of the sink holding the littel window closed. She was yelling at me to get her the hammer. i ran to the bottom drawer next to her, and gave her the hammer. When i backed up to see why she wanted the hammer there was a huge black bird pinned down outisde the window trying to get in. It was makeing very loud caws and screams. My mom was sreaming too. The bird's body outside the window, was all i could see at 1st. But as i got futher away from the window i could see that my mom had closed the wondow down on his neck. The bird was fighting and moveing around. My mom held the hammer up high and banged it on the head. I saw alot of blood splater on the inside of the window. and i remember crying and screaming. Then the bird stoped moveing. My mom was out of breath and crying. She picked me up and i saw she had hit the birds head with hammer. There was blood all over the inside of the window. My mom then opend the window to push the dead bird out. But as soon as lifted the window the bird just cawed really loud and flew away.

My mom was really scared and i was still crying. I Remeber asking her about that not to long ago. I was asking her if she rememeberd about it. she said she did. And that the bird had come for someone that day. I asked her what she meant. And she said that we were mexican. and that in our superstion when a black bird comes into your house. Someone is going to die. I asked who died that day mom. And she said no one. I dident let him In.
